West Coast Swing

West Coast Swing is a cool, sexy dance that spotlights the lady. It is a smooth dance that is danced in a slot. The dance originated in the black blues clubs in the 50's. The count is 1,2, 3&4, 5&6, or 1,2, 3&4, 5, 6, 7&8, or 1,2,3,4, 5&6, 7&8. There are 7 basic steps to this dance with many variations and syncopations. A very fun dance that can be danced to Country, Blues, R&B, and Hip Hop.
